CCI-LEX is hiring for a short-term summer position! We are looking for an individual to conduct marketing research that will shape future opportunities for CCI-LEX. Key Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for conducting a variety of marketing research tasks under the direction of the Executive Director and staff team responsible for marketing and communications. In this role the successful candidate will:
- Work with the staff team to set goals and desired outcomes of marketing research
- Create a workplan with clear activities and timelines to achieve above
- Conduct research to identify trends, potential competitors and/or partners, and our organization’s position in the market
- Analyze student/client preferences and give recommendations for our programs
- Facilitate engagement activities with stakeholders (i.e. students) to inform current and future programming
- Review communications platforms and tools; make recommendations for improvement
- Support other tasks related to marketing and stakeholder engagement as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
- Education and/or experience in marketing and marketing-related research strongly desired
- Knowledge or experience with stakeholder/community engagement practices and tools
- Ability to synthesize, document, and present information in a clear, succinct manner
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) required
- Proven organizational and time-management skills; attention to detail and ability to work independently required
- Experience working with diverse multicultural groups and/or English language learners an asset
Requirements: 18-30 years of age; legally entitled to work in Canada (international students ineligible)
Terms of Employment: $20/hour; May 26 – August 15, 2025; 30h/wk; Monday to Friday; primarily daytime; work on-site at CCI-LEX’s downtown office.
